About VoucherData: sources and how we choose tickets

Festival pages list the dates of the current or next edition, the main venues and how to get there, plus transport, tours and tickets you can book in the same city. Travel essays cover a city's streets, food and daily life; most end with a link to the festival page for the same city.

Dates follow official announcements from organizers, local governments or tourism authorities. Festivals set by the Chinese lunar, Thai lunar, Buddhist, Balinese Saka, Islamic or Javanese Tengger calendars, or by the date of Easter, are marked “estimated” until announced, then updated.

We check official announcements ahead of each festival, and every festival page shows when its dates were last checked. If a date or venue changes, we correct the page; major changes go into the changelog.

We only list things tied to the page's city or route that you will use on the ground: transport passes, entry tickets, local tours and day trips, and eSIMs, plus a few Taiwanese and Japanese tea, ceramics and handmade brands tied to our essays. On festival pages, most products are side trips in the same city, not tickets to the festival itself.

We do not list animal shows or rides, or products built around mass lantern releases.

Ticket and product links are affiliate links (Klook, and brands we work with through Affiliates.One). If you book through them, VoucherData may earn a commission; your price does not change.

Products are tied to the city or route of the page they appear on, and most are places our articles mention; on festival pages they are mostly side trips in the same city. We do not list brands the affiliate platform has not approved. Orders, payment, refunds and support happen on Klook or the brand's own site; prices and availability are as shown at checkout.
